Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey, providing guidance, and connecting them with relevant resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage clients in a personal and supportive manner, fostering a sense of community and connection.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to develop and implement individualized recovery plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients, helping them navigate their recovery journey.
  • Assist clients in accessing relevant resources, such as detox services, family support, and other community-based programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Requirements
  • Must be in successful recovery for more than 2 years.
  • Hold a valid certification in Peer Support, such as CRS, CHW/CRS combined, CAPRC-I, CAPRC-II, or CSPR.
  • Have a strong understanding of pathways to recovery and social systems, including evidence-based practices.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience with EMR software.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
