Telehealth Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telehealth Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care through the use of advanced monitoring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic bedside care to patients
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays
  • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members
  • Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology
Requirements:
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years of experience in acute care

Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Physical Demands:

As a Telehealth Nurse, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. You should also be able to easily lift 20 pounds, and moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.

Vision Requirements:

You should have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
