Job Summary

Nashville Treatment Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support services to clients and staff in our PHP, IOP, and OP treatment facility for adults with substance abuse and co-occurring diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and support services to clients and staff, including supervision of the client milieu and helping to create and maintain a therapeutic milieu for treatment initiatives.
  • Transport clients to and from appointments, activities, and other events as needed.
  • Assist with administrative functions, such as faxing, ordering, and maintaining client medical records.
  • Monitor and document client behaviors and presentations, including medication observations and assisting the nurse practitioner.
  • Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within your skill set and scope of practice.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • Minimum of one year experience in the addiction or mental health fields, preferred.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent), required.
  • Valid Driver's License, required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and able to pay attention to details.
  • A positive work attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
  • Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
