Job Title: Tax Senior

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing both international and domestic tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and developing tax strategies to optimize business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of international and domestic tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
  • Conduct detailed tax research and analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to manage tax audits and inquiries.
  • Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure the organization's compliance with all relevant tax requirements.
  • Prepare and present tax reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree in Taxation or a professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on international and domestic tax.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, tax accounting, tax research, and tax preparation.
  • Proven experience in managing tax compliance in a complex business environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations and apply them to business scenarios.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant technology tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
