Job Description

As a Resident Care Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
  • Preparing residents for meals, snacks, and activities.
  • Assisting residents in the dining room, including serving meals and clearing tables.
  • Responding to resident emergency call systems.
  • Observing, documenting, and reporting any changes to residents' conditions to the Resident Care Coordinator or their designee.
  • Communicating with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner.
  • Maintaining required resident care documentation per State regulations and Navion Senior Solutions policies and procedures.
  • Transporting residents when required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
