Job Summary:
As a Registered Dietitian at Mercy Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutritional therapy to patients. Your expertise will help assess nutritional status, develop personalized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' nutritional status and develop plans of care to maintain or improve nutritional status
- Counsel patients and/or families about food requirements, eating habits, and therapeutic nutrition
- Periodically evaluate patients' responses to care plans and modify as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Eligibility to be a Registered Dietitian and obtain licensure within 4 months of hire
- Preferred qualifications: 1+ year experience as a Registered Dietitian, working experience in an acute care hospital
