**Job Requirements:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Asbestos Abatement Team Lead to join our team at BluSky. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing environmental projects focusing on asbestos, microbial growth, and lead abatement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with regulations, equipment procurement, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for mentoring staff, conducting safety training, and managing project profitability. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with occupants, property owners, and industrial hygienists throughout the abatement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee environmental projects focusing on asbestos, microbial growth, and lead abatement.
  • Manage technicians and temporary labor at job sites and at shops.
  • Monitor progress and schedule for final clearances.
  • Manage temporary labor sources.
  • Complete order forms for materials and equipment needed for specific projects.

Requirements:

  • Able to travel 50% of the time required.
  • Physical ability to perform the required job tasks, including regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Candidate must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Asbestos 40-hour supervisor certificate (willing to help obtain).
  • Must have an asbestos Supervisor State ID (willing to help obtain).
