Job Summary

The Barback is a vital member of our hospitality team, responsible for supporting the bartender in the daily operation of the bar. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the bartender in preparing and serving drinks, including mixing cocktails and pouring beer and wine.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless service.
• Stay up-to-date on beverage knowledge, including cocktails, beer, and wine, and be able to make recommendations to guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
