Position: Azure DevOps Engineer

Contract Duration: 6 months plus

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Role Overview:

The Azure DevOps Engineer will collaborate with various teams, including infrastructure, architecture, and software development, to establish CI/CD automation both on-premises and within the Azure cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and troubleshoot continuous build and deployment pipelines.
  2. Drive the adoption of DevOps practices through the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and API integrations.
  3. Coordinate with Release, Infrastructure, Middleware, Development, Quality Assurance, and other support teams to create effective automation solutions.
  4. Provide support for CI/CD tools, including onboarding new applications and addressing incident tickets.
  5. Work closely with architecture and development teams to deploy Azure services efficiently.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Essential: Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Networking, Load Balancers, DNS, and Azure Services.
  • Desirable: Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Kubernetes Services, Okta.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines for Azure services and applications utilizing Node.js and Python.
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure ARM Templates, PowerShell, Shell/Bash scripting, Terraform, Python, and Helm charts.
  • Solid experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes deployments.
  • Strong understanding of tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Ansible, HashiCorp, and Rancher.
  • Experience with Networking, Load Balancers, DNS, and Azure Services.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Azure Administrator Associate
  • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
