Our ideal candidate is a seasoned cloud data architect with a passion for designing scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms. As a Director of Cloud Data Architecture, you will lead our team in building and implementing cloud-based data solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

  • Design and develop cloud-based data architectures that support large-scale data processing and analytics.">
  • Lead a team of data engineers and architects in implementing data platforms on cloud infrastructure.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data platforms with existing systems and applications.">
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and best practices for cloud data architecture.">
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide strategic guidance on data-driven decision-making.">
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud data architecture and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.">
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for cloud services and software.">
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance across all data platforms.">
  • Develop and deliver training programs for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in cloud data architecture.">
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on cloud data architecture to internal stakeholders.">
  • Mentor junior team members to help them grow professionally and personally.">
  • Contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with company-wide initiatives.">
  • Analyze business requirements and develop cost-benefit analyses for data platform investments.">

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.">
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud data architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.">
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms on cloud infrastructure.">
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).">
  • Experience with big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark) and data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, Redshift).">
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.">
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.">
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions.">
  • Possess a strong passion for staying current with emerging trends and technologies in cloud data architecture.">
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.">
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.">
  • Demonstrated experience with budget management and cost-benefit analysis.">
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.">
