We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As a key member of our team, you will provide evidence-based services to individuals with serious mental illness, promoting recovery and community integration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct services to ACT patients, including assessing health, social, psychiatric, and medical needs.
- Administer scheduled intramuscular medications as ordered by prescribers.
- Engage in health promotion, prevention, and education activities.
- Ensure patients are seen in accordance with their needs, including medical and psychiatric appointments.
- Complete clinical documentation using collaborative documentation and ensure services are documented in accordance with SCDMH/QA requirements.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and related nursing experience.
- Licensed as a registered nurse by the SC Board of Nursing.
- One year experience working with adults diagnosed with serious mental illness and working knowledge of psychiatric medications.
- Experience with adults with serious mental health issues.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
