Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
  • Conduct fire prevention activities, including inspections and education
  • Operate fire apparatus and equipment, including engines, trucks, and ambulances
  • Participate in training exercises and drills to maintain skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other emergency responders and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Firefighter II certification within 12 months
  • Wisconsin Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification or Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification within 3 years of employment
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to public safety and customer service
