We are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a critical member of our logistics operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers.
Competitive Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $69,248, based on the hourly rate of $33.34 and a 40-hour workweek.
About the Role:
As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering essential food products to customers while maintaining a safe and efficient delivery process. This includes:
- Unloading products with a hand truck and placing items in customer storage areas
- Verifying delivery of items with customers
- Making frequent stops during a work shift
- Delivering product in inclement weather conditions
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
- A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
