We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Operative to join our team at Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for conducting armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols, controlling access and egress, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, and deterring criminal activity and misconduct.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver outstanding safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities to our clients.
- Respond to Incidents: Remain calm and composed in critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve incidents effectively.
- Conduct Regular Patrols: Regularly and randomly patrol business and perimeter areas, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
- Intercede and Escort: Intervene and escort individuals as needed, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
- Report Suspicious Activity: Observe and document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents, promptly reporting them to the client.
- Age and Education: Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Criminal Background: As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug Screening: As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing and Certification: Possess a valid driver's license for driving positions and a NY Armed License.
- Military Experience: Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security, or any support role in a Combat Zone.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies, or a minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch.
- Competitive Pay: $40 per hour.
