Job Overview

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 80 hours per pay period. As a Dedicated Medical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for both clinical and administrative functions, assisting physicians with patient care and handling scheduling, entering charges and billing for services.

You will provide critical support to patients, communicating effectively and empathetically to ensure they fully understand and benefit from our clinical services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year recent experience in a medical facility as a clinical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office.
  • Experience with electrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, and EMR systems.
  • A Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program.
  • Certification in Medical Assisting.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification or equivalent.
