Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Payroll Specialist to join our team at Berkshire Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of operational, technical, and analytical support to the Human Resources function. This role requires a proactive self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, analytical, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with payroll processing for Berkshire Bank and Firestone Financial on a bi-weekly basis.
Manage the timekeeping system to ensure accuracy and timecard compliance.
Ensure payroll changes are handled timely and accurately.
Provide technical support for ADP Workforce Now employee portal for all employees and managers.
Maintain supporting documentation for audit trails.
Provide assistance and serve as backup in absence of AVP, Payroll Manager.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to payroll processing.

Requirements:

Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant or support function in a progressively demanding role.
Payroll processing experience required.
Well-rounded general Human Resources experience.
Experience using ADP Payroll and/or ADP Workforce Now a plus.
