About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care at Southcrest. As an elite clinical provider, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and working closely with our team to provide a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive experience.
  • Participate in our hygiene mentor program to enhance your clinical skills and stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Tennessee.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
