**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist in Charge to lead our pharmacy department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing guidance and supervision to support staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide pharmacy support staff to ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy.
  • Implement staff schedules and provide feedback on performance to the Executive Director.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain pharmacy inventory, including purchasing and return systems.
  • Provide primary customer care and advocate for excellent customer service standards.
  • Support training and development of pharmacy personnel.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement operational enhancements and efficiency programs.
  • Monitor and resolve third-party claims and identify problems in systems.
  • Perform retail pharmacist duties, including dispensing medication, patient counseling, and health advocacy.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with a Bachelor's or advanced degree.
  • Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of practice.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and handle multiple priorities.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior retail and hospital outpatient pharmacy experience.
  • Prior experience with non-profit organizations.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience.
