Job Description

The Polysomnographic Technologist will work under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Medical Director to conduct sleep studies and provide clinical support to patients. This role requires strong communication and technical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests according to established protocols.
  • Attach electrodes and monitor patients during sleep studies, documenting observations and collecting data from various monitors.
  • Score reports and use the AASM Inter Scorer Reliability program to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Benefits

Ardent Health Services offers a competitive salary range of $62,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer match.
