We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services team. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our new service line.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting, assessing, diagnosing, and implementing complete care plans.
- Supervise Dialysis Technicians and ensure the delivery of optimal dialysis care.
- Collaborate with cross-functional resources to coordinate care and troubleshoot issues related to dialysis treatment.
- Conduct impactful and meaningful education to patients and their families in the SNF setting.
- Meet and/or exceed clinical outcomes, multitasking to meet the needs of the service, patients, and SNF partners.
- Previous experience in Chronic Hemodialysis, Acute Dialysis, and/or Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; minimum of 12 months' of RN experience.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
