We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Operative Preparation: Inspect the operating room for cleanliness and prepare equipment for surgical procedures.
- Patient Care: Assist in transferring and positioning patients in the operating room, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Instrument and Supply Management: Anticipate and provide the necessary instruments and supplies for surgeons during procedures.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Training: Completion of Operating Room Technician training program.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: One year of scrub experience in a hospital setting.
As a Surgical Technician at Jefferson Health, you will be required to undergo a background check and meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act. Additionally, you will be required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination prior to hire date, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
