Job Title: Regional Highway Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Highway Engineering Leader to join our dynamic team at Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP. As a key member of our highway design group, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and supporting our design disciplines within Florida and companywide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic business development and growth of the regional highway design group
  • Hiring and mentoring staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects
  • Client and project management, including preparing scopes of work, fee estimates, and project schedules
  • Experience with Alternative Delivery projects (Design-Build, P3, etc.) and FDOT standards, specifications, policies, and procedures
  • Proven track record of developing and growing design groups and establishing external and internal relationships
Requirements:
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in highway design
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Master's Degree or other advanced degree desirable
  • P.E., registered in the state of Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Strong knowledge of FDOT standards, specifications, policies, and procedures
