Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and implement treatment plans for patients.

  • Work collaboratively with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Educational Requirements:

  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (MSN or DNP) is mandatory.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably as a Nurse Practitioner.

Specialty Experience:

  • Experience in one of the following areas is essential: Surgery, Oncology, OB, Hospitalist, Intensivist, Psychology, Gerontology, Urology, Non-Invasive Cardiology, or Trauma.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license from the California Board of Nursing is required.
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) license from the California Board of Registered Nursing is required.
  • NP-F Furnishing license from the California Board of Registered Nursing is required.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from ANCC is required or equivalent NP clinical license.
  • Certification from AANP is required.
  • DEA registration is required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage patient health and illness effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer skills for managing patient information and documentation.

Work Schedule: Standard hours are from 08:30 to 17:00. This position is classified as exempt.

Compensation: The hourly rate is $125.29, based on relevant experience and licensure.

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week.
