Job Title: Executive Director

Island Transit, a municipal corporation serving Whidbey and Camano Islands, is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee the delivery of reliable, transparent, safe, and service-focused transportation to the residents of Island County.

About Island Transit

Island Transit is a well-supported public sector organization with a strong financial foundation, adequate reserves, and newer facilities and equipment. The agency serves all of Island County, encompassing picturesque Whidbey and Camano Islands, and is adjacent to major population centers such as the Seattle metro area and Bellingham.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day management and administration of Island Transit
  • Ensure the delivery of reliable, transparent, safe, and service-focused transportation to the residents of Island County
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to accomplish the agency's mission and vision
