We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at TriStar Horizon Medical Center, an accredited 150+ bed regional medical center. Our hospital offers a full array of services, including cardiology and diagnostic imaging, emergency care, inpatient rehabilitation, oncology, orthopedics, and women's services.
As a Critical Care Nurse with SIGN ON BONUS, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Your daily responsibilities will include assessing and reassessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, administering medications, documenting patient information, educating patients and families, maintaining equipment, and communicating patient needs.
What You Will Do:
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Acknowledge and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.
Requirements:
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- BLS required.
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area.
- Specialty certification preferred.
- One to two years clinical nursing experience.
- ICU experience preferred.

Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
