Job Summary

Prokatchers is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team on a local contract basis in Elmhurst, New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and equipment maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CT technology and imaging techniques to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • 1-year experience as a CT Technologist, with relevant equipment experience.
  • A valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or in radiation therapy issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • BLS preferred.
