That's why we're seeking a dedicated Part Time Support Staff to join our team at our Tate home in Ashland, VA. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in empowering adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and dreams.

**Salary:** $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

In this rewarding role, you will provide support to residents with their daily activities, such as meal preparation, while also encouraging them to pursue their passions and interests. You will work closely with a team of professionals to create personalized support plans that promote independence, community involvement, and overall well-being.

Some key responsibilities of this position include:
  • Administering medications according to organizational procedures and the 6 Rights of Medication Administration.
  • Using Customer Service skills when interacting with residents, families, case managers, medical professionals, etc.
  • Completing accurate and timely daily documentation to include but not limited to ISP Notes and T-Logs.
  • Maintaining information in the individuals records, ensuring individuals are treated respectfully and maintaining confidentiality regarding personal and health information.
