At Advanced Technology Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on our industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Maintenance Tasks: Observe and analyze equipment in operation to identify root causes of problems, dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts, and perform tests to ensure proper function.
- Source and Acquire Parts: Identify and obtain necessary parts, supplies, and repair items to complete maintenance tasks.
- Independently Perform Maintenance: Work independently to complete maintenance tasks in accordance with industry standards.
- Operate Machinery: Set up and operate various machining operations, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to manufacture and repair parts.
- Participate in CI Activities: Drive and participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes, results, and cost savings.
- Update Records: Maintain accurate records and review CMMS history to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot Control Systems: Analyze and resolve software, hardware, and configuration problems with control systems.
- Utilize Predictive Maintenance: Collect equipment performance data using predictive maintenance technologies.
- Assist Lower-Level Technicians: Provide guidance and support to lower-level technicians and leadership to small teams.
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) or Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry.
- Experience: 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
- Skills: Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, and can analyze problems and perform repairs.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle tools, reach with hands and arms, climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces, and talk or hear.
