Job Overview:

This role involves performing nursing tasks and responsibilities under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed physician. The position requires administering medications and treatments prescribed by providers, facilitating patient flow, and maintaining the use of supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Tasks: Performs nursing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care.
  • Medication Administration: Administers medications and provides treatments prescribed by providers.
  • Patient Flow: Assists in facilitating patient flow for the provider to ensure a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Supply Management: Maintains the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
  • CLIA Waiver Tests: Performs all CLIA waiver tests and ensures all tests are up-to-date.
  • PPD Placement: Demonstrates proper placement and documentation of PPD.
  • Compliance: Complies patient information in the absence of an RN and consults with medical providers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduated from an accredited one or two-year nursing school.
  • Licensure: Must possess a current NYS License as a Practical Nurse.
  • Certification: Must have current CPR certification.
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, superb organizational skills, strong influencing skills, self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiative, results-oriented, creative and persistent in accomplishing tasks, solutions-driven with a systems orientation, highly responsive, timely, accurate, and thorough in follow-up and follow-through.
Compensation and Benefits:

$23.63 - $25.50 per hour (based on a full-time, 40-hour work week), comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life insurance, 403b match, health savings accounts, generous paid time off, and loan forgiveness if applicable.
