Expert Water Solutions Specialist

At Autodesk, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Solutions Expert to join our Americas team. As a key member of our sales team, you will partner with our Water Product Specialist Team to drive new sales growth in the Americas region.

As a Water Solutions Expert, your primary responsibility will be to serve as a technical resource for our customers, providing them with practical solutions to their business challenges. You will leverage your deep knowledge of the Water industry, innovative thinking, and strong communication skills to translate customer needs into effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer strategies and deliver tailored solutions that align with Autodesks Water offerings
  • Serve as the primary Water technology expert in account teams, leading customer planning, engagement processes, and sales content creation
  • BUILD a compelling business case for Autodesks Water solutions
  • Position Autodesks Water technology as the solution to customer business issues
  • Guide technical discovery processes to uncover business opportunities and present findings and solutions to customers
  • Develop and maintain technical relationships with internal subject matter experts and provide critical knowledge to customers
  • Foster advocates within accounts to influence the success of Autodesks overall solution set
  • Demonstrate expertise to customers and the Water industry to differentiate Autodesk through its vision of becoming a trusted partner
  • Collaborate with Channel Partners and Customer Success teams
  • Deliver compelling presentations and messaging that achieve results from executive levels down
  • Communicate Autodesks competitive positioning in the Water space
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and global trends and develop new ideas to drive revenue growth
  • Influence Waters product development and direction through customer feedback and identified business opportunities
  • Engage and contribute to account planning processes
  • Align with customer decision-makers to secure technical closure of proposed solutions
  • Develop and deliver proposals and demonstrations that address customer business issues
  • Understand, position, and sell Autodesks unique Water value in sales situations
  • Capture metrics for quantifying and justifying customer return on investment to support impact on customer goals and outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in the Water/Wastewater space
  • Technical knowledge of Autodesks Water solutions such as InfoWorks ICM, XPSWMM, InfoSewer/SWMM, InfoWater Pro, InfoAsset Planner, and Info360 Asset - Strong knowledge of wastewater-specific tools is essential
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (air and car travel) to customers and Autodesk-sponsored events

We offer an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about water solutions, have excellent technical expertise, and can effectively communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
