Faculty Group Practice Lead Ultrasound Tech

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ultrasound technologist to lead our faculty group practice in Manhattan. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing medically prescribed ultrasound procedures, reviewing the work of staff, and supervising technical and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direction to technical staff, facilitate patient flow, and support management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Direct and monitor student and clinical training.
  • Demonstrate skill in equipment setup, utilization, and maintenance procedures.
  • Independently implement patient procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
  • Effectively assess patient information and status, and follow appropriate procedures accordingly.
Requirements

To qualify, you must have a certification from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology education program and be registered as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. A minimum of five years' ultrasound experience is required.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $104,115,328.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
