Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Strategic Healthcare Leader to spearhead our Accountable Care Organization (ACO) at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ACO management, with a proven track record in physician practice management. This individual will be responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial management of the ACO, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Strategic Plans: Lead the ACO's strategic planning and execution to achieve organizational goals and improve patient care.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders.
  • Performance Metrics: Implement and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of care delivery and organizational performance.
  • Financial Management: Manage financial performance, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the ACO.
  • Quality and Cost Targets: Ensure the ACO meets its quality and cost targets, including value-based care initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • ACO Management Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in ACO management.
  • Physician Practice Management: Proven experience in physician practice management.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive organizational change.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Knowledge of healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and quality improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medicare and Medicaid Experience: Experience with Medicare and Medicaid programs.
  • Health Information Technology: Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and health information technology (HIT) systems.
  • Certification: Certification in healthcare management or related fields.
