Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, collecting relevant information and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT scanners, performing procedures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
  • Practice radiation safety, adhering to federal standards and hospital policies.
  • Utilize electronic information systems, including Meditech and PACS, to manage patient records and expedite results.
  • Administer contrast media, perform venipuncture, and assist radiologists with interventional procedures.
  • Participate in continuing education activities, expanding your knowledge of CT and meeting ARRT continuing education requirements.
  • Contribute to departmental QA and performance improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent, with appropriate national registry.
  • ARRT (R) Registered.
  • ARRT (CT) Registered, to be obtained within 6 months of hire or start in position.
  • One year of experience in performing CT procedures, preferred.
