Role Summary

A dynamic pathologists' assistant is required to support a growing reference laboratory in the Nashville, TN area. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a pathologist, performing tasks such as accessioning, dissection, description, and histologic sampling of surgical specimens.

This opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $110,000-120,000 and provides a platform for growth and development within the organization.

About the Position

The pathologists' assistant will be responsible for:

  • Performing and/or assisting pathologists in accessioning, dissection, description, and histologic sampling of various anatomical specimens
  • Participating in frozen section preparations and intraoperative consultations within established protocol parameters
  • Maintaining reagents and equipment, storing and disposing specimens, and adhering to quality standards

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree, PA(ASCP) certification, and have relevant experience in the field.
