Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/X-Ray Specialist to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant/X-Ray Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative and clinical duties under the direct supervision of a medical provider, including taking patients to rooms, greeting patients, obtaining vital signs, and scheduling appointments.
  • Assist with medical procedures, answer phones, perform phlebotomy, and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Provide radiology support, including obtaining lab specimens, prior authorizations, and adhering to safety and infection guidelines.
  • Assist with billing and coding, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • One of the following certifications: LXMO, LXMOT, RAD, or RADT (must obtain RAD within 6 months of hire if currently hold RADT).
