The Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registrar to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing the registration process for all AGB meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities- Registration Management: Create and manage registration formats for all meetings, process incoming registrations, and serve as the primary point of contact for registration inquiries.
- Event Coordination: Work closely with the Finance department to reconcile outstanding balances, prepare confirmation letters, invoices, and other communications to registrants.
- Communication and Customer Service: Respond to member registration inquiries, monitor and maintain accurate records, and distribute meeting materials.
- Logistical Support: Lead staff working at the registration counter, prepare name badges, tent cards, and other meeting-related materials, and provide administrative support for logistical arrangements.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare statistical reports and dashboard information for registration analysis on a regular basis.
- A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience, preferably in a membership association, training department, or educational institution.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills.
- An associate's degree or some college coursework preferred.
- Strong orientation to detail, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple assignments in a timely manner.
- Intermediate to expert-level proficiency with the MS Office suite.
- Experience working with an association management or learning management system highly preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and to work under pressure with competing deadlines.
- Requires 20% travel.
