Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Specialist to join our team at Clare-Gladwin RESD. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational leadership and support to our Great Start Readiness program (GSRP) classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing observation and feedback to teaching teams and site administrators to ensure high-quality preschool programming with fidelity to the GSRP model.
  • Assist in the completion of necessary paperwork, documentation, narrative reports, and correspondence to meet GSRP grant requirements.
  • Deliver early childhood professional development opportunities for GSRP classrooms.
  • Support teaching teams and site administrators in implementing best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or a waiver approval from MiLEAP.
  • Minimum five (5) years of early childhood experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of early childhood programs and related services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in Clare and Gladwin County initiatives.
