Mountain View Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Surgical Technologist Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures by providing assistance with setup and preparation, maintaining asepsis, and adhering to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and performance of surgical cases by assembly of equipment and supplies according to physician preference cards.
- Work cooperatively in the clean up of the operating room following surgery, including the proper disposal of used supplies and sharps, the cleaning and decontamination of instruments, equipment and operating room.
- May act as an assistant to the circulating nurse in preparing the patient for surgery, positioning the patient in the appropriate position, and moving the patient to and from the operating table.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Surgical Technologist Aide at Mountain View Hospital, you must have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. You should also be currently enrolled in a Surgical Technology Program or possess equivalent experience.
