About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams in various settings, including patient homes, nursing homes, and other facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams
  • Travel to patient locations to perform exams, including safe driving and radiation safety practices
  • Process and review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed
  • Ensure that vehicles are well-stocked with necessary supplies
  • Act professionally and exhibit courtesy, friendliness, and a positive attitude when interacting with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends

Our acute care medical teams are available seven days a week, evenings, and holidays, and can be requested online or by a quick phone call.
