Job Title: IT Systems Analyst

Join Vaco as an IT Systems Analyst and take on a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As an IT Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and managing project assignments, communicating results, making recommendations to management, and providing training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify required resources and research project data, procedures, and history to ensure a thorough understanding of project direction.
  • Generate and analyze statistical data reports to inform project decisions.
  • Develop, prepare, and manage project plans through completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Communicate activity progress to involved parties, including stakeholders and management.
  • Resolve issues that arise involving clients, when appropriate, and transition programs to management personnel.
  • Participate in oral presentations and develop and provide training to management and colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited college or university, preferred.
  • Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including three (3) years of project management, office operations management, managed care, insurance-related, and/or statistical analysis experience.
  • Supervisory experience, preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Thorough knowledge of related field procedures or insurance-related procedures and/or managed care systems and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
  • Leadership/management/motivational skills.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
