The Senior Mechanical Engineer will collaborate within a dynamic team of engineers and designers to create detailed construction documents for various systems, including HVAC (wet/dry), plumbing, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering tasks focused on the design of utility and HVAC systems for advanced technology facilities, such as cleanrooms and manufacturing plants.
- Conduct mechanical engineering calculations to support HVAC system design, including heat load assessments, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, and equipment selection.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive development of deliverables and integration of inputs.
- Provide on-site project support and act as a technical consultant to facilitate effective project execution.
- Offer specialized technical insights for studies and designs in your area of expertise.
- Assist in formulating studies and design protocols to promote high-quality, cost-effective work by the engineering team.
- Engage in close collaboration with project teams and other design offices to ensure alignment.
- Contribute to the development of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including calculations for system sizing and selection, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, and operational sequences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills, a solid work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A collaborative team player capable of fostering effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and committed to building positive working relationships.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
- A National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in advanced technology environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Building Systems Software is desirable.
- Previous consulting engineering experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with quality control review processes and continuous improvement initiatives is beneficial.
