Job Description

We are seeking high-energy interns to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for a summer internship opportunity. This role provides a unique chance to work on KLA's semiconductor inspection tools and contribute to the development of components and tooling that we integrate into our instruments.

Responsibilities
  • Programming in LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, or Verilog, either on a PC or embedded software on ARM microcontrollers.
  • Designing and building control systems with motors and position sensors.
  • Creating analog and digital hardware and software to process digital and analog I/O data to make a system more intelligent.
  • Designing circuits with CAD tools, such as OrCAD or Cadence.
  • Implementing FPGAs with Vivado.
Qualifications

The successful candidate should have taken classes in, or have hands-on experience with any of the following areas:

  • Programming in any of the languages listed above.
  • Circuit design, either in a system or on a printed circuit board, especially with controllers and data acquisition solutions.

Strong analytical skills with experience in trouble-shooting electrical circuits are also required.
