Position Overview

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:45 am to 5:45 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Support members with their consumer lending requirements; evaluate loan applications, make credit decisions in accordance with lending policies, and assist in the management and execution of Branch Operations as directed by the Branch Manager. As a Loan Officer, you will process and authorize member loans within set guidelines and limits. Enhance credit union profitability through effective cross-selling of credit union products and services. Actively promote and sell Credit Life, Credit Disability, and GAP Insurance to Credit Union Members. As part of the Horizon Credit Union team, you will efficiently assist members with teller transactions while delivering exceptional member service. Provide precise, courteous, and professional assistance to all members or potential members regarding financial transactions or inquiries. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential components of this role. The position involves personal interaction with others both inside and outside the organization, generally concerning routine matters for the purpose of providing or obtaining information that may require some discussion.
