Job Title: Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot

Metro Aviation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients and medical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a helicopter in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure the aircraft is airworthy.
  • Communicate effectively with air traffic control, medical personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate and Instrument Helicopter Rating.
  • 2,000 hours of total flight time, with 1,200 hours of helicopter flight time.
  • 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command helicopter time.
  • 500 hours of turbine helicopter time.
  • 500 hours of cross-country flight time.
  • 100 hours of night flight time.
  • 75 hours of instrument flight time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Air medical operations experience.
  • Single-pilot IFR operations experience.
  • Night vision goggle operations experience.
