Clinical Therapist

Job OverviewAt Ellie Mental Health - MN, we provide paid internships for master's level clinical interns from the fields of Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Professional Counseling. As a Clinical Therapist, you will work under the direct supervision of a qualified site supervisor, engaging in a variety of clinical and non-clinical activities related to your specific discipline and consistent with your individual learning requirements from your program.

CompensationWe offer a competitive salary of $25 per hour, which translates to approximately $52,000 per year based on 20 hours of work per week. This compensation is above the national average for mental health professionals in similar roles.

Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Intern at Ellie Mental Health - MN, you will be responsible for providing individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy in an outpatient clinic setting. Your duties will include:

• Facilitating diagnostic assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and completing clinical documentation (progress notes, discharge summaries, etc.)
• Participating in shadowing of therapy sessions and diagnostic assessments
• Providing 10 client billable hours per week
• Attending two hours of clinic consultation meetings per month
• Meeting with internship supervisor weekly for Ellie supervision
• Attending and participating in clinical staff meetings and trainings

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:

• A master's degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy
• Clinical knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Adaptability to evolving best practices and compliance/credentialing standards
• Maintains strict confidentiality handling client information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and Ellie policies
