Job Summary:

Prysmian Cables and Systems USA LLC is seeking an experienced Machinist/Millwright to provide maintenance, installation, and operational services to the complex and heavy machinery in our facility. The ideal candidate will utilize necessary tools and equipment to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and wearing required PPE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Maintenance department to provide routine and complex maintenance to facility machinery.
  • Inspect machinery for issues and develop plans to properly fix, install, or assemble equipment, ensuring safe and productive operation.
  • Utilize a variety of power tools and read/understand diagrams and blueprints to evaluate correct procedures.
  • Experience in Machining, Welding, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics is essential.
  • Must be well-organized, a self-starter, and able to take orders as directed.
  • Perform duties in a work environment that may be hot, cold, dirty, and fast-paced.

Requirements:

  • First shift, 8 hours; must be available for overtime, including weekends.
