We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at the Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center.
About the RoleThis is an independent contractor position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative team of BCBAs, providing high-quality services and presenting at regional and national conferences.
Key Responsibilities- Provide school consultation to public and private schools in Delaware and northern Maryland
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior support plans for individual students engaging in high-risk behavior
- Train teachers and paraeducators to implement behavior plans, monitor fidelity of implementation, and track progress
- Give trainings to school-based staff on behavioral interventions
- Provide systems-level consultation to special education programs serving students with intensive needs, working with school leadership to define universal educational practices for autistic support and other specialized settings
- Masters degree from a behaviorally-based, accredited college/university in special education, psychology, or other related field
- Current BCBA certification
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in the direct delivery of behavior analytic services to people with autism spectrum disorders/behavioral challenges as a BCBA, and at least 1-year experience consulting/working within a school (preferred)
