Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
  • Implement safety standards and radiation protection protocols.
  • Assist physicians in advanced and specialized procedures.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as per regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards.
  • Submit high-quality images and documentation to PACS promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including all procedure and storage areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's degree or completion of a sonography certification program.

Experience:

  • No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent use of vision for near and far distances.
  • Regular communication through hearing and speech.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional bending and repetitive movements.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Future certifications as required within specified timeframes.

Work Schedule:

Variable shifts available.
