Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room and gather necessary supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Deliver instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team during procedures.
  • Assist in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies, and instruments after procedures.
  • Participate in unit operations to contribute to the efficiency of the department, effective communication, quality care, personal growth, and development.
  • Maintain all annual unit-specific competencies, ACE, and PAR requirements.
Requirements
  • High School or GED (Required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist school or equivalent military training, or 10+ years' experience as a Surgical Tech.
  • Understanding of procedures performed, anticipation of surgeon's needs, and ability to ensure quality patient care.
