Job Summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Saxon Global, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based e-commerce and retail platform. You will work closely with our software engineering teams to design, build, and maintain tools that improve the overall system health and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement tools to improve system reliability, latency, and scalability
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps

Requirements

  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and system performance
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms like Azure or Google
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, and scripting languages
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data pipelines and analytics
  • Knowledge of React and front-end development
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
